The leadership was escorted to the hall in a procession led by Kandyan dancers. A historical overview of the Assemblies of God ministry which spearheaded the organization in the early years in this region and the surrounding areas was presented by Rev. Shamila Gunasekera. Rev. Michael Dissanayeke addressed the gathering.
