On 14th June 2014 the Celebration in Kandy was the final regional event which brought together more than 1000 believers at the Mahaveli Auditorium in Polgolla. The leadership was escorted to the hall in a procession led by Kandyan dancers. A historical overview of the Assemblies of God ministry which spearheaded the organization in the early years in this region and the surrounding areas was presented by Rev. Shamila Gunasekera. Rev. Michael Dissanayeke addressed the gathering. The event ended with a time of fellowship with food served to all participants.
