Passion for Change Breakfast – As a part of the Market Place Ministry under the G.R.E.A.T. Vision a breakfast was held on the 25th of February for 25 emerging business leaders in Colombo. The event was organized in partnership with Global Advance (SAARC) Sri Lankan team. The emerging group of leaders were challenged to think BIG with God and to live and do their business with Honor to Godly principles. The group that attended will be networked so as to motivate them to build the kingdom in the market place. Bro Jonathan the president of Global Advance, Bro Rob Saunders an investment banker from the U.S were the speakers.
Market Place Ministry Rural Leaders conference– was held on 25th and 26th of February at Pamunugama. There were 51 participants in total with almost every AG region
represented and some from other churches as well. This was organized in partnership with the Global Advance (SAARC) Sri Lankan team. Bro Jonathan the president of Global Advance, Bro Rob Saunders an investment banker from the U.S and Bro Prashantha Jayamaha an AG businessman were the speakers. There was great emphasis to believe God for great things and to follow honorable practices in business. The participants were motivated to receive the competitive advantage the Holy Spirit can bring by being the source of Favor, Creativity, Wisdom, Discernment and Direction. The next step would be to take this learnings on a workshop style basis to all regions and churches.
