The Leaders with Promise Camp held from 27th February to 1st of March at God’s Little Acre Moratuwa. There were 44 participants in this program. This camp was the 3rd module of the 2nd season of Leaders with Promise and the key topic of this module was Mentoring and Discipling for Future Leaders.
This camp was aimed to develop the leadership, essential skills, and values as leaders.
Participants were warmly welcomed to God’s Little Acre and briefed on the objectives and schedule of the camp.
During the 1st session Rev. Dr. Chrissokumar Handy spoke about having a biblical peace and forgiveness in conflicts.
Session 2 to Session 6 was done by Dr. Ajith Fernando shred how a leader face lying, culture and battling insecurity and having an accountability through friend. And also discipling themselves to be a good leader.
Participants engaged in small group discussions, sharing their thoughts, challenges and best practices in ministry.
Session 7 and session 8 Pastor Suren Gomez delivered an inspiring message on moving with the holy spirit and healing others. And also what not to do when healing.
The mentoring and discipling for future leader’s camp at God’s Little Acre was a resounding success, empowering emerging leaders with essential skills, values and mentorship for their future. The camp served as a tool for personal and professional growth, providing participants to make a positive impact in their churches and ministries.
